Rainy Sunday at home.

A weekend in wonderland sounds divine.

I can’t remember the last time I spent a weekend morning in bed - with magazines, books, coffee, my computer and music. I took inspiration from Rita Konig’s piece in T magazine and, though my bedroom is not as perfectly sunlit or artfully disheveled as the one she designed, vow to spend both Saturday and Sunday mornings this weekend as such.

One month from today, I will be days deep into the city of New Orleans. I haven’t been to NoLA since Katrina, which is pretty sad considering it was once a yearly jaunt for me. Rates are shockingly low right now.
We’re staying in the arts/warehouse district, one of my favorite areas because of:
Hotel Le Cirque, the Circle bar two doors down, and Herbsaint, the delicious and southern-sexy neighborhood restaurant. Can’t wait to see what else the city has in store for me.
